MAKERSTOREN is designed for makers. In the attractive, stacked high-rise buildings you will find fully furnished apartments, high-quality studio spaces, beautifully designed communal areas and numerous fine services. This makes us fundamentally different from other coworking spaces and serviced rental apartments. We offer a healthy breeding ground where ambitious makers can grow (further), from high-tech designers to craftsmen and from established professionals to ambitious beginners. And we facilitate creative enterprises in the optimal accommodation of temporary staff.

The diversity of temporary living space, studio spaces and communal areas for sports and relaxation makes MAKERSTOREN unique. MAKERSTOREN has 45 creative workshops of various sizes, spread over nine floors. Communal areas are available in various places, for example for meetings or to clear your head. Food and drinks can be found in the restaurant on the ground floor, and you can zoom out on the ninth floor where the spacious communal lobby with designer furniture offers a wide view of the city. When the working day is over, you can grab a takeaway meal. In the summer, you can join the communal BBQs. If you don’t want to sit, you can sharpen your mind (and body) in the adjacent, freely accessible fitness room. Need a permanent parking space? Rent an e-bike? Or do you want to have your own charging point? We are happy to support you in your needs.

Straight across the street from MAKERSTOREN, Amster- dam’s brand-new park boasts walking routes, a jogging parcours, sports facilities, an open-air theater and a tree campsite that accommodates trees that had to be removed from construction areas elsewhere in the city.
RHÔNEPARK
Station Sloterdijk, het tiende meest bezochte treinstation van Nederland, ligt vlakbij en overbrugt de afstand van 12 km naar Schiphol Airport in slechts 11 minuten. Vanaf hier is het gemakkelijk om met de hogesnelheidstrein, metro of het vliegtuig naar elke bestemming in Europa of overzee te reizen.

Up your game and play padel under the train tracks of the nearby railway station Sloterdijk. Courts 1 to 4 feature an 11m-tall canopy, and outdoor fans claim their spot at the fifth court. The venue also has a generous terrace to rehydrate yourself after the workout.

Tuin van Bret is a pioneering area for entrepreneurs and artists that is completely made from reusable materials. Authenticity and plastic-free are two keywords for a pioneering meeting place you’ve not seen before.

BRET CITY VINEYARD
Award shows, product launches, and business events: the first circular event location in The Netherlands can host up to 2000 visitors. Literally around the corner of MAKERSTOREN, the dome’s remarkable spheric geodesic construction is hard to miss.
CIRCA AMSTERDAM
A temporary cultural hotbed for theatre, De Sloot is a welcoming neighbour. Once a place for metalwork, the site now hosts theatre performances and cafe-restaurant De Sering, where you can have a yummy lunch or dinner at very reasonable prices.
DE SLOOT
Lofi is the city’s most upfront, influential educational gathering for electronic music. In addition to its already infamous indoor warehouse raves, the former GVB bus garage also hosts intimate gatherings around the courtyard.
LOFI
A cultural space in continual movement around electronic music, by the queer community. Raum is a thrilling cultural free haven to think outside the box, might you’ve found yourself trapped in one.
CLUB RAUM
Looking for a venue to hold an event? At a 5-minute walk from Station Sloterdijk, the H7 warehouse might be exactly what you need. The warehouse can host up to 800 visitors, In addition, the location has a large balcony and a builtin bar. Special attention goes to the spacious inner garden.
H7 WAREHOUSE
Think top-shelf weed and a stylish interior reminiscent of an old-world pharmacy. What sets Boerenjongens apart is their ambition to make a positive contribution to the local community, by hiring Neighbourhood Hosts to protect the social cohesion around their shops.

De loods biedt plaats aan maximaal 800 bezoekers. Daarnaast beschikt de locatie over een groot balkon, een achterkamer, kluisjes en een ingebouwde bar. Speciale aandacht gaat uit naar de ruime binnentuin die in verbinding staat met de binnenruimte.
